Healthy Eating


I was a division 1 athlete in college, and I was pretty much able to eat whatever, whenever, and still stay physically healthy. Of course there were time that our coach tried to put us on diets...but to be honest, how healthy can you eat when your restricted to the campus cafeteria and your meal plan. It was only recently after graduation, when I stopped working out completely that I realized how everything I eat impacts how I feel. I'm slowly moving through a clean eating journey, and I'd love to share some of the recipes that are helping me transition there!


Berry Avocado Salad

  1. Spring Mix Lettuce

  2. Sliced Strawberries

  3. Blackberries

  4. 1 Sliced Avocado 

Chicken Spring Wrap

  • Sautéed Chicken Breast

  • Spring Mix Lettuce

  • Diced Tomatos 

  • "Mission" Jalapeno Cheddar Wrap

  • Chipotle Honey Salad Dressing (Recipes on Pinterest) 

Pesto Shrimp Zoodles

  • Sliced or Spun Zucchini

    • cooked on a stovetop with garlic and olive oil for 5 minutes​

  • Pesto Sauce

  • Shrimp

    • sautéed on a stove with garlic, butter, ​salt and pepper until pink

Homemade Guacamole

  • 2 Avocados (mashed)

  • Diced Cherry Tomatos

  • Chopped Scallions

  • Chopped Cilantro

  • Salt, Pepper, Cayenne (spicy) to taste.
